I took this photo of Jonathan Seagull this morning while he was taking a break from his travels. I also noticed he had an injured leg, for he was standing on just one, with the other just dangling. I felt sorry fot the little guy, even though he presented a proud pose. Yes, he's been places, seen lots of interesting sights I can not even imagine. He gave me pause to ponder that even with his disability he could still do the things that made him free. Fly, yes fly wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted. But he didn't fly away from me as I approached much closer with my camera to take his portrait. No he trusted I was a kindred spirit, who also wanted to fly, to be free like he. So he let me take his picture, because he probably new deep down that I would put him in my blog tonight and with a bit of luck some of his long lost kin might see him in cyberspace, the one space he'd never flown.
